David A. Scott

David A. Scott, 55, of Patoka, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh from complications of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was born June 24, 1962 in Princeton and graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1980. He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Princeton. David loved sprint cars and wildlife.

David is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kelly (Stone) Scott, to whom he was married on June 6, 1992; his 3 children, Tori Jo Scott, Samuel David Scott and Kara Kay Scott; his father, Jerry Don Scott (Barbara) of Louisville, KY; his brother, J. D. Scott of Patoka; and his sister, Debbie Scott of Patoka.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Sibbitt, and a niece, Savanna Scott.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Donnie Truelock as celebrant. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
