Donna J. Huff, 79, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN following an automobile accident. She was born November 24, 1937 in Oakland City, IN to the late Claude Earl and Ophia (Miller) Miller. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oakland City.

Donna was the assistant manager of the former Johnson’s Restaurant in Oakland City. She also was an associate for Turning Point Technology’s selling Forever Living products. For many years, Donna owned and operated The Huff & Puff fitness and exercise facility, encouraging and training clients in an effective nutrition and weight loss program. In May of 1984, Donna founded the local chapter of Phi Beta Psi at the urging of her son, Tony, who had been diagnosed with cancer. This women’s sorority is a national organization whose main project is funding cancer research grants and helping local families afflicted with the disease. Donna will be remembered and revered for the remarkable love and attentive care she gave her mother Ophia Miller, who lived to be 108 years old. She continued to go and help others in the nursing home even after her mother passed away.
