Elsye Carolyn “Suzy” Kirby, 73, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her home in Princeton. She was born March 26, 1944 in Central City, KY to John and Ada Helen (Boyken) Youngson. She lived most of her life in Princeton. She was a retired LPN from Health-South in Evansville. She was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church, the Moose Aux. and the VFW Ladies Aux. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and was an avid reader. She frequently visited the Senior Citizens Center in Princeton.

She is survived by her children, Wade Kirby (Candy Dreher) of Clinton, Craig Kirby (Reba) of Johnson, Carol Fleming of Martinsville, Matt Kirby (Elizabeth) of Crown Point, Sara Frye (George) of St. Augustine, FL, Shad Kirby (Kayla) of Clinton and Hank Kirby (Jennifer) of Ft. Branch; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a dear friend and companion, Wally Cox of Princeton.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Ken Kirby; and a brother, John David Youngson.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017 and from 1 until 2 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Colvin Funeral Home Funeral, Princeton, IN., followed by a procession to the Columbia White Church Cemetery on Sunday for a funeral service at the graveside, with Pastor Kevin Miley officiating. Burial will follow services.
