Evelyn Cotterill, 102 passed away on Saturday Sept. 24, 2016 at the Evansville Protestant Home in Evansville. She was born August 31, 1914 in Warrick County to Claude and Ota (Bruce) Russ. She was a homemaker.

She had lived in Oakland City most of her life.  She was a member of the Oakland City First General Baptist Church, member of the D.A.R., a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a Pink Lady at Wirth Hospital for over 19 years.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Shelly (Bob) Christmas of Princeton, Angela (Dennis) McVey of Boonville, Jason (Megan) Willis of Petersburg and Robert Cotterill of Evansville; 7 great grandchildren, Andy Orem, James Cotterill, Jack McVey, Hunter Willis, Christian Willis, twins, Samantha and Elizabeth Willis; a great-great grandson, Bryson Cotterill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years, Bert Cotterill in 1985; son, Robert Lincoln Cotterill, daughter, Georgia Sue Langley; granddaughter, Alison Kay Wright and great grandson, Jacob Cotterill.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday September 27, 2016 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Pastor Alec Hensley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forsythe Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
