James Ray “Jim” Stillwell, 65, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 7, 1951 in Princeton, IN. He graduated from Allendale High School and attended Wabash Valley College. He retired from Rural King. He was a member of the Illinois National Guard. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Allendale, IL. He was a member and former commander of the American Legion Post#25 and a former member of the Allendale Volunteer Fire Dept.

 He is survived by his children, Abbygayle Stillwell of Owensville, Andrew Stillwell (Ashly) of Princeton and Jamie Johnson (Tim) of Lawrenceville, IL; 4 grandchildren, Emalynn and Jason Stillwell and Olivia and Liam Johnson; brother, Dale Orene Stillwell Jr (Joyce) of Scottsburg, IN; sister, Mary Jo Workman (Allen) of Princeton; brother-in-law, Gary Naumann (Marty) of Belleville, IL; nieces, nephews and dear cousins; and special friends, Maxine Higgins and Judy Higgins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Gloriana Storment and Shirley Naumann.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jim Saunders.  Burial will be in the Allendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home. Military rites will be provided by Retired Military Veterans.
