Judith Ann (Miller) Besing, 76, of Buckskin, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was born December 2, 1940 in Somerville IN and resided in Buckskin after marriage. Judy was married to Larry Paul Besing for 58 years. They married on August 16, 1958.

Judy was formerly a beautician and later worked in the jewelry department at Walmart. Judy grew up on a farm as a child and later was bookkeeper for the farm that she shared with her husband Larry. Judy was a member and a Sunday school teacher at St. John’s Church of Buckskin. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and later, her great-grandchildren, and enjoyed caring for her cats and skunks. She was a very caring, spunky woman that would go out of her way to care for anyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Bernice Miller, her brother Samuel Thomas and great-grandson Gage Besing.

Judy is survived by her husband Larry, two sisters Barbara Watkins and Rita Gieselman, brother Jim (Linda) Miller, four boys Tony (Karen), Keith (Patty), Kenny (Anita), and Brian (April) Besing,  sixteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. John’s Church in Buckskin with Pastor Doug Gorman officiating. Burial will be at the St. John’s Cemetery in Buckskin.
