Michael Coomer Obituary

Michael Joseph Coomer, 67 of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his home. He was born May 31, 1950 in Princeton and had resided here most of his lifetime. Mike was an electrician since 1969 and retired in 2012 and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 16 in Evansville. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton and a former member of the Moose Lodge #354 and Prince Masonic Lodge #231 both in Princeton.

Mike is survived by his mother, Delores (Wilkinson) Coomer of Princeton; 2 daughters, Kelly Leffler of Evansville and Whitney Reinbrecht of Princeton; a son, Chris Coomer of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Sierra Allen, Alexis Wheeler, Addison and Hadlee Archer and Reagan Reinbrecht; a brother, David Coomer (Donna) of Princeton; a niece, Carrie House; a nephew, David Coomer Jr.; aunts and uncles, Walt and Dorothy Wilkinson, Lloyd and Mary Richardson and Jack and Georgia Wilkinson; and many cousins, including Bobby and Denny Wilkinson who were special cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Carl “Dutch” Coomer.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday March 18, 2018 at First General Baptist Church in Princeton
