William Harris Jr., 88, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at South Brooke Care Center in Springfield, Ohio where he resided since 2014. He was born on March 11, 1928 in Princeton, IN. He worked for International Harvester for 35 years. He was a member of Bunker Hill General Baptist Church in Vincennes, IN. He is survived by his children, Vincent (Josephine) Harris, Douglas (Erma) Harris and Alicia Gilbert all of Springfield, OH; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Tucker in 2011; children, Deborah F. Harris and Bruce W. Harris; grandson, Rodney E. Harris; brothers, Elder Edmond Harris and James Harris; and sisters, Mary Phelps and Flora Jean Jackson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka, IN.
