Coulton Wayne Elliott was born on July 20,1989 to Pam Rodems-Elliott and Raymond (Rocky) Elliott in Jacksonville, IL. Coulton passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Princeton, Indiana at the age of 31 after an extended illness.
Coulton attended schools in Jacksonville before moving to Roxana, IL and Princeton, IN to work for his father in the tire industry. While growing up, Coulton worked part time at the Jacksonville Bowl Inn. As he got older and spent more time in Indiana, he would regularly travel back to Jacksonville to visit his family and friends.
Growing up, Coulton loved Harry Potter, having read all of the books and watched every movie. Coulton also enjoyed playing the game, Magic: The Gathering. He worked very hard so that after work and on his return trips to Jacksonville, he could meet up with his friends to play cards. Coulton enjoyed spending time with his mother, father and brothers. He loved the family trips to the gun range or to Paintball.
Coulton is survived by his parents, Pam Elliott and Jay Bates, Raymond and Adrianna Elliott, his grandparents, Jim and Carol Rodems, Sandy Noll, Raymond and Linda Elliott and Bertha Covey. He is also survived by his brothers, Dain Elliott, Clint Elliott and Nick Elliott and their children. He was particularly close to his nephew Trey and nieces, Caydence and Madison. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and longtime friend Adam Trockman.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family in the future. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements.
