Bonnie Richardson Obituary

Bonnie E. Richardson, 93, of Princeton, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville, Indiana. She was born November 18, 1925 in Gibson County to the late, George McClellan and “Dale” (White) McClellan. Her Christian faith provided the solid foundation for the way she lived her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many. She was a member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton. Her strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love was evident in how she lived her life. She was a very caring and compassionate person, and always put the needs of others before her own. Bonnie was always there to listen and help people in need and her life was dedicated to serving others because of her love for Jesus. She had a servant’s heart and was dearly loved and will be missed deeply by those who had the privilege of their lives being benefited by knowing her.

Bonnie is survived by her 2 sons, Monte Richardson and Mark Richardson both of Princeton; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jason Richardson (Liz) and their children, Olivia, Cooper and Sophie of Bloomington, IN; Chris Richardson and his children, Bella and Maxx of Princeton, IN; Eric Richardson of Princeton, IN; Kim Madison (Tyke) and her children, Joe Bichler and Dezi Bachtel (Caleb) of Johnson, IN; Becky Dillon (Stephen) and her children, Wyatt Miskell and Kealy Miskell of Princeton, IN; Mike Richardson of Evansville, IN; Ashley Richardson (Winston Hartley) and their children, Levi, Lexi, and Layla of Evansville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond E. Richardson in 1998; son, Max Richardson, and a brother, Phil “Mac” McClellan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Maumee Cemetery in Johnson. A visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 6100 Dutchman Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
