Charles Robert Robling, 68, of Hazleton, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at his home. He was born July 14, 1951 to parents, Byron Robling and Wilma (Bateman) Robling. Charlie served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was self employed as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed working and keeping busy. He enjoyed camping with his family and playing with his dog, Bandit.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Nila Robling; 2 step-daughters, Stephanie (Donnie) Bishop and Tracy Nelson; Grandchildren, Shayna (Garrett), Jalen, Ashlyn, Kiana, Kennedy, and Jensyn; 3 great-grandchildren, Stella, Kee'jai, Jai'ah, and one on the way, Rowan; several nieces and nephews; brother, Dave (Brenda); and sister-in-law, Myra.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry and Jeff; and one infant brother, Byron.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 26, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Pastor Andrew Johnson. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olympus, with a military service by Retired Military Veterans. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time, 2:00 PM August 26, 2019 at the funeral home.
