Clifford Earl Blaize, 91 of Princeton passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. He was born March 18, 1927 in Gibson County to Norman G. and Florence E. (Phillips) Blaize.
Earl retired in 1989 from Whirlpool where he worked for 34 years. He has lived in Princeton since 1997 moving here from Hazleton. He graduated from Hazleton High School. He was a member of the Hazleton United Methodist Church and since moving to Princeton they had been attending the New Life Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, He enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and participating in church activities.
Earl is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lettie J. (Redfairn) Blaize of Princeton; daughter, Phyllis Blaize of Princeton; son, Timothy Ray Blaize of Tell City; grandchildren, Lisa Thompson (Andrew) of Francisco and Keith Blaize (Mindy) of Patoka; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Thompson, Madison Thompson and Cullen Blaize; brother, Carl Blaize of Princeton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Gary Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home
