Dan Ellerman

Dan Ellerman, 68, of Hazleton, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North. He was born March 12, 1951 in Vincennes to the late Enos and Betty (Burkhart) Ellerman. Dan was a graduate of South Knox High School and a retired farmer. He had resided in the Hazleton community for the past 45 years, coming from Knox County.

Dan loved playing poker, the outdoors, his beagles, hunting and fishing, but most especially his grandkids.

Dan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Ellerman of Hazleton; a daughter and son-in-law, Dannica and Bryan Wehlage of Indianapolis; 2 grandchildren, Rarity and Gibson Wehlage; 3 siblings, David Ellerman of Decker, Penny Beard (Scott) of Sullivan and Brian Ellerman (Jan) of Washington, IN; also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. CST Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Nathan P. Rastl officiating. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ellerman family.
