Dana Lynne (Gladish) Parkhurst, of Evansville, was born October 21, 1956 and passed Friday, September 22, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family. She had worked at Emge Packing Company, Champion Laboratories and Bristol Myers.

Preceding her in death was her father, George Gladish, Sr.

Surviving Dana is her husband of 29 years, Richard; mother, Bonnie Gladish; sons, Jason (Heather) Sheridan and Rodney (Suprena) Sheridan; grandchildren, Destynie, Shelby, Kason, Briley and Bralyn; brother, George Gladish; sister, Lori (Charlie) Reuter; nephews, Damien (Libby) Tieken, Zach (Lindsey) Tieken, Drew Reuter and Adam Gladish; nieces, Nicole (Drew) Logan, Natalie (Craig) Paul, Katy Reuter and Haley Reuter; great nephews, Keenan Logan and Phineas Tieken; great nieces, Lexi Logan, Lucy and Izzy Tieken and Pharah Paul.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ricky Ballou, who cared for Dana 17 years. Also, thanks to Dr. Christopher Braden and Dr. Snesha Modi. Thanks to Deaconess Palliative Care and Deaconess Hospice Care.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hazleton United Methodist Church, 114 S. Main St., Hazleton, IN 47640, with Pastor Sam Polito officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, IN.  Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service hour at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hazleton United Methodist Church. Envelopes will also be available at Colvin’s and the church. You may leave a message of sympathy or light a memorial candle at www.colvinfuneralhome.com.
