Harold F. Watt, 85, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his home. He was born February 6, 1934 in Princeton to the late Walter Scott Watt and Grace (Lehman) Watt. He was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1952. Harold served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the V.F.W. He retired in 1993 from Old Ben One coal mine after many years of service and was a member of the UMWA 5179.
Harold is survived by his wife, Patsy (Finch) Watt; 3 children, Jim Watt (Lisa), Kathy Creek (Mac) and Steve Watt all of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, John Creek (Erin) of Boonville, Angie Marshall (Dacin) of New Palestine, IN, Chad Watt (Audrey) of Princeton, Emily Seib (Jeremy) of Ft. Branch and Jason Watt (Summer) of Princeton; 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd and sister-in-law, Jettye Watt; a granddaughter, Brandi Watt and a great grandson, Trevor Watt.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Burial will follow. Military rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans. There will be no visitation.
