Jane Kolb Woods, 81, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Washington Township, near Mt. Olympus, on May 27, 1936 to Leotis and Margaret Stewart Kolb.  She had taught home economics in the East Gibson School Corporation for 31 years,  was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, Cinderella Home Economics, SOROSIS Book club, Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa & Girls Night Out.

She is survived by her children:  Kathy (Mike) Williams, Mike (Sue) Woods & Tim Woods; 4 grandchildren:  Mackenzie (Eric) Oakes, Courtney (Logan) Bultemeier, Tara Woods & Jake Woods and 1 great grandson Owen Oakes.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers:  John & Joe Howard Kolb; sisters:  Ann Lou Hofman, Susan Mayer & Louise Houston.

Grandma Jane loved her grandchildren so much, they were her whole life.  Jane graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in home economics & had been an avid Purdue Boilermaker fan ever since.  Jane was also a very active member of her community and her church.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Chris Neikirk.  Burial will be in the Decker Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
