Janet E. Robinson, 78 of Oakland City, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at The Waters of Princeton. She was born October 22, 1938 in Gibson County to Estel and Juanita (Davis) Williams. She had lived in Oakland City for many years. She had worked at Hansen Manufacturing for 10 years before her retirement and enjoyed crafting.

Janet is survived by a son; Jeff Phillips (Pam) of Petersburg; daughter, Tammy Riley of Oakland City; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Emmitt Williams of Florida and Estel Williams Jr. of Tennessee; sisters, Carolyn Sue Williams of Princeton and Billie Jo Church of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Rodney Phillips; and brother, Robert Williams.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in the Providence Cemetery, near Francisco at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 with Brother Donald Dearing officiating. Burial will follow the services. There will be a private family viewing at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City followed by a procession to the cemetery prior to the services. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.
