Jean McGregor, 97, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home in Oakland City. She was born August 24, 1919 in Princeton, IN to Harry and Ada Jane Morrison. She was a legal secretary for her husband for many years. She attended the First General Baptist Church in Oakland City. She was a former member of the Tri-Kappa. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty (Dean) Kukral of Kansas; and a brother, Donald Morrison of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren McGregor; brothers, Leland, Lowell and Harry G. Morrison; and sister, Mary Helen Barney. There will be no visitation or services. A private burial will take place at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. The Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
