Judy Kay (Schmits) Hardenbrook

Judy Kay Hardenbrook , 72, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born October 15, 1946 in rural Ft. Branch, IN. She was a hairdresser, last working at Nieco’s. Judy was an artist and she enjoyed painting and crafts. She enjoyed St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, Indiana Pacers Basketball and the Indianapolis Colts Football.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gary Hardenbrook of Princeton; 5 sisters, Phyllis Hanold (Larry) of Mt. Sterling, IL, Patty Woehler (Jerry) of Haubstadt, Debbie Dixie (John) of Shelbyville, KY, Sherry Owens (Everett) of Indianapolis and Teresa Griffin (James) of Mt. Carmel, IL ; her brother, Randy Schmits (Janet) of Ft. Branch; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Schmits and Cleo (Porter) Schmits Meier; and a brother, Donnie Schmits.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN, officiated by Father Tony Ernst. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
