Keith Manning, 55, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Washington, IN. He was born November 3, 1963 in Owensboro, KY. He was an Operating Engineer for IUOE Local 181 in Evansville. He was a member of the Petersburg Moose Lodge and Petersburg VFW. He had been the Pike Central girls’ basketball coach for 10 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his mother, Pansy (French) Manning of Evansville; daughter, Chelsea Potts of Petersburg; son, Nicholas Manning of Petersburg; 3 grandchildren, Kaiden Young, Bowen Potts and Daxen Potts; sisters, Debra Doerner (Brett) of Spurgeon and Vickie Hutchinson (Rick) of Somerville; 2 brothers, Steve Manning (Kathy) of Boonville and Wayne Manning (Leslie) of Petersburg; former wife, Lana Manning of Petersburg; 15 nieces and nephews; and 21 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Manning in July 2018 and brother-in-law, Jeff White.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am (CST) Friday, December 28, 2018 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, officiated by Pastor Frank Coleman. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm (CST) Thursday and 9 until 11 am (CST) on Friday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
