Linda Kay Burns

Linda Kay Burns, 54 of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on May 27, 1964 in Princeton, IN to Paul Eugene and Frances (Johnson) Burns.

Linda lived at home all of her life until the last 4 years when she stayed at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville, IN, where she was very lovingly cared for. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Ft. Branch.

Linda enjoyed working at the GCARC for many years. She loved IU Basketball, TN Football and going to U of E Purple Aces Basketball games. She loved to travel and eat out. She collected angels and unicorns. She was a huge fan of the Oak Ridge Boys.

Linda is survived by her devoted mother Frances Burns of Fort Branch; 2 loving sisters, Carolyn Burns of Fort Branch and Deanna Lutz of Princeton; 1 nephew Sam Estes and his friend Jessica White of Princeton; 4 aunts Wilma Ikerd, Louise Burns, Marie Burns and Totie Hartwell; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul Burns in 2002; and many special aunts and uncles.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Christy Pflug. Burial will follow at Francisco Cemetery in Francisco. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
