Mamie M. Turpin, 67, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. She was born July 2, 1952 in Princeton to Howard Cox and Mary Kathryn (Null) Whitehouse.
Mamie was a homemaker. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1970. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, craft work and crocheting. She loved to cook and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Harlan Turpin of Princeton; daughter, Mary Jo Woehler of Princeton; son, Casey Ray Turpin (Natalie) of Princeton; 4 grandchildren, Reece Woehler, Brooklyn, Kaylee and Austyn Turpin; sister, Betty Ahlemann of Oakland City; brother, Joe Whitehouse of Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Fannie Miller.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Donnie Truelock officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
