Marilyn K. (Bell) Johnson, 67, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at North Park Nursing Center in Evansville. She was born on November 14, 1949 in Somerville to Donald L. and Evelyn M. (Usery) Bell. She graduated from Mackey High School. She attended the Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville. She was an Ad Executive at the Evansville Courier Newspaper for 40 years, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and watching “Dancing with the Stars”.

She is survived by her husband, Wilburn Wayne Johnson of Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Lindsay Folsom (Michael), Justtin, Michael and Aryk Hayes; 2 great grandchildren, Syler Folsom and Kyden Hayes; 2 sisters, Debra McKnight and Sharon Colvin; and a brother, Steven Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Teresa Hayes in 2010; son-in-law, Charles Hayes in 2011; and brother, Larry Bell.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Rev. David Wayne Mathias officiating. Burial will be in the Somerville Cemetery.
