Mark Scott Obituary

Mark K. Scott, 64, of Patoka, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville. He was born October 13, 1954 in Gibson County to parents, Thurman Scott and Betty (Sinkhorn) Scott. He worked at Snap On for 28 years and was a member of Tower Heights Church of God. Mark was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and was an awesome softball player and coach. He liked watching westerns on TV and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his mother, Betty Scott; father, Thurman Scott; brother, Mike Scott; step-brothers, Gary, Jerry, and Larry Tice; step-sister, Tammy Williams; nieces, Hayli Scott and Xiana Scott; nephews, Mike T. Scott, Isaac Scott, and Samuel Scott; great-niece, Jade Scott; and father-like figure, Dwight Fisher.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Martha Scott; uncle, Dale Sinkhorn; and grandparents, Charles and Thelma Sinkhorn and Kern and Edna Scott.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jack Gatson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until funeral service time, 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the funeral home.

For those who wish, memorial contributions can be given to Maple Hill Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
