Mary E. Ireland

Mary E. Ireland, 91, of Princeton, Indiana passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born August 16, 1927 in Pike County, Indiana to the late Warner and Alma (Shrode) Ammerman. She worked for 13 years at Potter & Brumfield and also worked for Devoe and Reynolds for 25 years She retired in 1989. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Marty Ireland of Francisco, Indiana; and grandchildren, Jason P. Ireland of Miami, Florida and Amanda Jo Ireland of Evansville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruth Anna Resler and Arawan Hacker; and aunt, Margaret Morgan.

A graveside funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Union Community Cemetery in Union, Indiana. Burial will follow at the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Family and friends will gather at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton to go in procession to the cemetery.
