Mary Woodall Obituary

Mary A. Woodall, 80, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Amber Manor Care Center. She was born November 29, 1938 in Petersburg to parents, Orlando “Toad” & Mary Hope (Robling) McCrary. She married James “Peckeye” Woodall on September 12, 1959 and they spend almost 55 years together until his passing on November 20, 2014.

Mary spent most of her life in Petersburg where she graduated high school. She retired in 2010 from Walmart where she worked as a cashier for 15 years in Jasper and in Washington. Mary was a member of the VFW Post #3587 and was often found playing her favorite game, Bingo. Her greatest joy was being a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Beadles of Union and her significant other, Jeff Brown of Princeton; son, Kenny Woodall of Petersburg; 2 grandsons, Scott Beadles and significant other, Suzie of Princeton and Ryan J. Beadles and significant other, Carol of Union; great-grandchildren, Landon Beadles of Union, Hannah Beadles of Princeton, and a great-grandson on the way; sister, Betty (McCrary) Decker of Petersburg; brother, Tom McCrary and wife, Barb of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Lowell Thomas. Burial will follow at McClure Cemetery in Algiers, IN. Visitation will be from 9 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodall Family (for funeral expenses) by making checks payable to Debbie Beadles. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Colvin Funeral Home of Princeton is honored to serve the Woodall family.
