Nancy (Owens) McKannnan

Nancy (Owens) McKannan, 81, of Princeton, has gone to be with “Dale” by the Jordan River on Saturday, June 22, 2019. She was born September 4, 1937 in Warrick County to parents, August & Joyce (Lott) Owens. She married Charles “Dale” McKannan and was blessed with 42 years together before his passing in 2017. Nancy was extremely talented and was always a crafter. From baking and decorating cakes to sewing and woodworking, she was good with her hands. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kathie (Bob) Merrill, Sandy Carnahan, John D. (Laura) Hughes; grandchildren, Missy Turner, Robert (Renee) Merrill, Matthew Merrill, John (Ashley) Hughes, Olivia (Jeremy) Eagan, and Michael Kriner; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Anita (Pastor Michael) Marsh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant child, Linda Kay; grandchild, Logan Hughes; and great-grandchild, Kaleigh G. Merrill.

A private family viewing will be held. A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:30PM Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown, Indiana officiated by Pastor Michael Marsh.
