Phyllis J. Walker, 84 of Francisco, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born September, 30, 1933 in Oakland City, to Orvan A. and Mary O. (Davis) Thompson.
Phyllis had lived in Francisco since 1954 moving there from Winslow where she had lived and grew up. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, and working puzzles.
She is survived by a son, David Walker of Francisco; 3 daughters, Toni Kissel (Tom), Melinda Bradshaw and Kay Walker all of Princeton; 2 sisters, Bonnie Frederick and Ruth Sandefur both of Chandler; 5 grandchildren, Jason Bradshaw (Alescia), Matthew Kissel (Candice), Melanie Kissel, Sarah Buckner (Zackary), Frederick Cantrell; 10 great grandchildren, Kohl Goff, Austin McGill, Davis, Regan and Carson Bradshaw, Devyn Jernigan, Logan Kissel, Rowan Cantrell, Cody and Nova Lee Goodall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Wallace Walker Jr. in 2004; granddaughter, Stephanie Goodall; brothers, Noel and Alan Thompson.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Francisco Cemetery in Francisco. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson County Council on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
