Ralph D. “Jack” Wilkerson, 88, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 17, 1931 in Ft. Branch, IN to Shelby “Red” and Leva (Georges) Wilkerson. Ralph served in the Marines during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He retired from Alcoa. He loved to shoot skeet and trap, enjoyed fishing, and was a weekly visitor to the library (he loved to read).
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon; 2 sons; 1 daughter; 6 grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nancy Colvin and Bernie Maikranz.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 16, 2019, officiated by Rev. Larry Meadows at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements and is honored to serve the Wilkerson family. Military graveside rites by Retired Military Veterans.
