Randall W. DeBord, 71, formerly of Princeton, passed away August 10, 2018 at his home in Gainesville, Florida. He was born in Princeton on January 22, 1947. Randall graduated from Princeton High School class of 1965 and The University of Evansville in 1969 with a degree in music.
He taught music for two years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then worked for the Dept. of Defense where he taught military children in Subic Bay Philippines, Wiflecken and Wiesbaden Germany, retiring from Missawa Japan in 2009. He then moved to Gainesville, Florida. He had traveled to many places from the South Pacific, to Europe, the Great Wall of China, Panama Canal, the Jungles of Barneo and many remote areas.
He loved music and performed with several orchestras. He enjoyed travel, scuba diving, photography and snow skiing.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth E. DeBord; niece, Melissa J. Johnson; nephew, Kenneth J. DeBord; two great nieces; one great-great niece; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles K. DeBord in 1957 and Margaret E. DeBord in 2001.
At his request, there will be no service and a private interment at a later date. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with interment.
