Randell "Randy" Lynch Obituary

Randell “Randy” E. Lynch, 63 of Patoka, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

Randy was born in Robinson, IL, on May 18, 1956, to Luther and Betty (Burns) Lynch and was a retired welder. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Princeton and the Eagles in Mt. Carmel. More than anything, he absolutely loved spending time with Tammy and their dog Sampson. He also enjoyed his family whom he loved dearly, and time spent hunting, fishing and boating.

He is survived by the love of his life, Tammy (Newman) Lynch; sister Iris Dewus (Howard Petri) of Princeton; brother Steve (Debbie) Lynch of Patoka; and mother-in-law Diane (Carl) Weaver; sisters-in-law Pam (Ward) Lee, Tracy (Scott) Wilson, Patricia (David) Pruitt, and Beverly Beasley all of Arkansas. Also surviving is special friend Paul Brackey (of Cedar Lake, IN) several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Betty Lynch; father-in-law David Newman; and brother-in-law Donnie Joe Newman.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Doug Horner. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka, IN.
