Sheila Elaine Morris-Lashbrook, 52, of Princeton peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2018. She was born April 25, 1965 In Waukegan, IL to Donald and Irene Morris.
Sheila was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church, where she served on the Family Builders and Bereavement Teams. She also loved taking care of the babies in the nursery. Sheila worked at Hook's Drug Store for a short time before entering long-term employment at PPG in Evansville. On many Friday and Saturday mornings she could be found at yard sales or flea markets wheeling and dealing. Sheila also enjoyed crafting beautiful jewelry which she often gifted to family and friends.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Bob Joe Lashbrook of Princeton; her son, Garet (Zach) Morris-Dean of Carrollton, KY; her parents, Donald and Irene (Anderson) Morris; her brothers, Brad (Mindi) Morris and Rodney (Mary) Morris all of Princeton; two nieces, Dakota and Grace; and two nephews, Rodney Jr. and Drew. She also left behind two very spoiled, but happy dogs, Griffin and Sadie Jo.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 28 from 11am until 2pm at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 North Main Street in Princeton. Services will begin at 2pm. Susan Carey will be the officiant. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Sheila never wanted a child to go without a gift to open on Christmas morning. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Princeton Police Department Cops & Kids Program, 310 W.
