Sherry Anne (Smith) Brown

Sherry Anne (Smith) Brown, 47, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born November 28, 1971 in Allegan, Michigan. Sherry enjoyed working puzzles, traveling, and listening to old school R and B. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grand baby “Nook Nook”. She was a lover of the outdoors, liked to fish and moo at cows on drives in the country. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Sherry is survived by Willie “Pops” Spraggins; her loving husband, Vernell Brown; children, CheVaughn Chavis and Nolan Chavis; grandchild, A'Shiana “Nook Nook” Jones; siblings, Crickett (Michael) Overton, Shawn Madison, Juan Madison, Kimberly (Jonathan) Evans, Angela (Marlon) Evans, Pamela Braggs, Tracey Taylor, Cheryl (Madison) Pope, Robin Johnson, Marsha Deshotel and Robert Fleming; several nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Nicole Dilworth and Crystal Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth “Ick” Madison and Gail (Smith) Madison and grandparents, Barbara and Lyle Smith, Annie Bolden, and John and Bernietha Booth.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Pastor David Johnson. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until funeral service time, 2:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
