William H. "Bill" Tyree

William H. “Bill” Tyree, 83, of Princeton, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on May 8, 1936 in Gibson County, Indiana to the late William Howard and Hazel J. (Fine) Tyree Sr. He lived in Princeton all his life. Bill was the Manager of the frozen food at Buehler’s Buy Low and the former Gaston’s IGA. He served in the US Air Force and he enjoyed watching sports on TV.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Tyree of Princeton; brother, Jim Tyree of Colorado; sister, Sharon Wilkerson of Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack Baker and Dick Tyree; and sisters, Rosetta Hodgson, Alice Marie Hurst and Barbara Swope.

Graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Decker Cemetery in Patoka, IN. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Military graveside rites by Retired Military Veterans. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements and is honored to serve the Tyree family.
