Willis Eldridge “Bill” Hyneman Jr., 73, of Ft. Branch, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home in Ft. Branch. He was born on December 25, 1944 in Princeton, IN to Willis Eldridge Hyneman Sr. and Retta (Smith) Hyneman. Bill was an electrician and a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #16 for 50 years. He was a sports fan, supporting the LA Dodgers, I.U. Basketball and the Boston Celtics.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joy Chandler Hyneman of Ft. Branch; sister, Rita Green (Gary) of Mt. Auburn, IL; niece, Tara Wallwork of Puyallup, WA; mother-in-law, Janice Chandler; sister-in-law, Jo Burns (Don); nephew, Seth Burns; grandnephew, Tennison; and his special pet, Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Kevin Ray Gatewood.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Andrew Johnson. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gibson County Animal Services or the National Parkinson’s Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
