Adrion B. Willis, 83 of Petersburg passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born April 13, 1940 in Petersburg, IN to Cortney B. Willis and Esther Lorene (Jones) Willis. Adrion married the love of his life, Barbara, July 3, 1961. He worked as a welder for Washington, IN Railway for 19 years then at DIA for 13 years before retiring in 2002. Adrion was a member River of Life Fellowship Church in Petersburg. He liked to spend time fishing and tending to his flower garden. Adrion will be remembered as a jack of all trades who liked to tinker with cars and do all the handyman things.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years; children, Robert Willis (Tara Summers) and Ronnie Willis (Brandy); grandchildren, Cody Willis (Tina) and Jacob Willis (Morgann); great-grandchildren, Carter and Ellie Willis.
Adrion was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dexter Jean Loveless, Dorothy Freeland, and Mary Mitchell; and grandson Ryan Furman.
A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. CST Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City. Burial will follow the service at Willis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from10:00 a.m. until the service time at the Funeral Home.
