Agnes Jane Coomer

Agnes Jane Coomer, 91, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on November 3rd, 1930 to James and Goldie (Pickett) Chapman. On July 16th, 1946 she married her best friend and life long companion of 58 years, Bill Coomer.

Agnes was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Outside of her family, her passion was growing and taking care of her many flowers. She also loved gardening, working puzzles, and listening to WRAY radio. She will always be remembered for her gentle kindness, warm smile, and affectionate heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers; 1 sister; her husband, Bill; and her daughter, Linda (Coomer) Fetcher.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Rosalie (Francis) Waters; grandchildren, Billy (Stacey) Krug, Lisa (Troy) Whitehead, Carrie (Brian) Kasinger, and Brian Roberts; great grandchildren, Alexzandria Waters (Rafael), Tyler (Savannah) Lopes, Caitlyn Lopes, Kyle Whitehead (Kristyn), Tanner (Caitlin) Kasinger, Brayden Whitehead, Krislynn Waters (Lance), Dacia Krug, Kourtney Kasinger, Raylynn Kasinger, and Gabriel Roberts; 5 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Mounts and Gloria Bell.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.
