Andrew “Red” Clyde Lloyd, 83, of Princeton, IN was called home Wednesday, April 16, 2025 surrounded by his family at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born May 31, 1941 in Evansville, IN to the late Aden and Mabel (Douglas) Lloyd. He married the love of his life, Janice (Davis) Lloyd, March 19, 1967. They were blessed with 58 years of marriage. Red worked as a Truck Driver since 1970. He worked for Ed Harvey Farm Supply, PIC, and Schneider Transportation until he retired in 1998. Red was a member of the Francisco Lions Club for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending time tinkering in his garage, woodworking, fishing, watching western movies, reading his bible, and spending time with his family. Red attended Princeton Holiness Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Glen Lloyd, Kenneth Lloyd, and Jeanette Lloyd; siblings-in-law, Imogene Lloyd, Harold Seaney, and Don Greathouse.
Red is survived by his wife, Janice Lloyd; children, Andrea (Joe) Strickland, Matt (Jodie) Lloyd, and Keith Lloyd; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Carl Lloyd, Jim (Martha) Lloyd, Don (Grace) Lloyd, Jerry Lloyd, Doug Lloyd, Linda (Wayne) Wheeler, Nellie Seaney, Ailene (Orbie) Farmer, and Sandra (Larry Deckard) Greathouse; sister-in-law, Nina Lloyd; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Darrell Satterfield officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service time Monday at the funeral home.
