Anthony “Tony” Dunning, 57, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. He was born October 16, 1962 in Evansville and had resided back in Princeton for the past 20 years, coming from Ohio. Tony was a 1980 graduate of Princeton Community High School and 1984 graduate of Indiana State University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was also a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church rural Princeton.
Tony was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, golfing, basketball, baseball (and watching the St. Louis Cardinals) and working family reunions.
Tony is survived by his mother, Ruth (Woods) Dunning of Princeton; a son, Matthew Ryan Dunning of Terre Haute; a sister, Carla (Dunning) Delianides (Jeff) of Mansfield, OH; a nephew, Nicholas Delianides of Mansfield, OH; an uncle, Joe Woods (Jane) of Jasper; an aunt, Anne McDonald of Princeton; and also, numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Dunning in 2004.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Jarmon Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8th at Colvin Funeral Home.
