Barbara Coomer

Barbara Coomer, 85, of Princeton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024.  She was born in Morganfield, KY. on January 23, 1939, to the late Andrew "Howard" and Thelma (Flemming) Logsdon.

Barbara had worked at Hansen Corporation and previously worked as a manager at McDonalds in Princeton.  She was at times known to be very ornery and a spit fire; however, Barbara was a very honest and caring person, especially showing her love for her grandbabies and spending money on her family.  She loved Pepsi and snacks, especially twinkies; enjoyed sitting on the porch, going on walks when she could, watching Westerns with the TV on full blast, and planting flowers.  She loved spending time with her six parakeet birds.  Barbara will be missed by all who knew her.  

Barbara is survived by her children, Debbie Dyer, Tammy Blaize (Stephen), Lela Coomer, and James Coomer; grandchildren, Alexa Amos (Tyler), Alisha Amos (Devin), Emma Coomer, Asher Coomer, Nicole Dixon, Josh Dixon and Whitney Blaize; great-grandchildren, Knox, Knightly, Paije (Damon), Mylee and Ellie; great-great-grandchildren, Clementine and Caius; and brothers, Wendell and Richard.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Edward Coomer; and sister, Shirley Todd.

A Memorial Service will be held, 11:00 am, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the Funeral Home.
