Barbara Jo Dietrick, 74, of Newburgh, IN was called home April 21, 2024. She was born June 24, 1949 in Princeton, IN to the late George B. Taylor and H. Marie (Garver) Taylor. Barb graduated from Princeton High School in 1967. After high school she worked in retail management at K-Mart until she retired in 2013. In earlier years Barb was a member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton, IN, then attended Oakhill Bible Fellowship in Evansville, and Gateway Baptist Church in Newburgh, IN. She enjoyed shopping at the Dollar Tree, cooking for her family, hosting family cookouts, and watching NCIS. Barb loved spending time with her family and taking her grandchildren to and from school. She adored her Weiner dogs and helping others any chance she got. Barb is loved by many and will deeply be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
Barb is survived by her children, Stacie (Gary Hannah) Moss, Reyna Gammon, Kathryn (Jeff) France; grandchildren, Baden, Taylor, Bryntlee, Maddy, Wyatt, and Seph; and great-grandchildren, Colson and Bexley.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to It Takes A Village, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
