Berndt “Bernie” Oswald Tismer, 68, of Princeton, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. He was born in Berlin, Germany on December 20, 1953 and married Renate (Walter) Tismer January 5, 1977. He worked as a welder for 20 plus years and in the maintenance field for another 28 years. He was handy and passed that trait along to his family. He enjoyed technology, electronics, and computers. Bernie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed.
Bernie is survived by his wife, Renate Tismer; son, Michael Frinken; daughters, Sabine Fugate (Martin), Marion Sohnle (Frank), Nancy Frinken, and Susan Brewer (Don); and granddaughters, Brenda Frinken and Jennifer Smith; grandson, Elijah; and great-grandchildren, Easton and Novo Frinken; and Rachel Thompson who was like a daughter to him and his best friend.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ursula Wilson.
The family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, June 5th, from 4-6 pm at the Princeton Country Club.
