Obituary

Bettie A. Ahlemann 85, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Petersburg, IN. She was born May 24, 1937 in Gibson County to Howard and Mary Katharine (Null) Whitehouse.

Bettie spent most of her life in Princeton. She graduated from Mt. Olympus High School. She was a retired librarian from the Princeton Public Library after working there just short of 40 years. She had a love for all things genealogy and is credited for starting the Genealogy Dept at the library. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was very involved in their lives. She liked to sew and cook which she was especially good at.
