Betty Lou Pyle, 82, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born September 28, 1937 in Oakland City to the late Robert D. and Dessie G. (O’Neal) Dunn, and had lived in Princeton most of her lifetime. She was a housewife and a bartender for 30 years at the former Charlie Bob’s in Princeton. She most recently was an assistant paper delivery person with her husband for the Evansville Courier.
Betty Lou is survived by her husband, Lowell A. Pyle of Princeton; 2 children, Rebecca Pierson (Roger) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Michael Ray Ferguson of Princeton; 2 step-sons, Jeffery Pyle of Princeton and David Pyle of Paducah, KY; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dorothy Carrico, Sarah White, June Dunn, Geraldine Bailey, Bill Dunn and Robert Dunn; children, Marian Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, James Eric Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Larry Ferguson and Jesse Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.
