Betty (Leet) Saylor

Betty Saylor, 81, formerly of Princeton, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle, IN. She was born May 18, 1938 in Evansville to Archie and Goldie (Boyd) Leet. Betty was married to John Saylor Jr at Washington Ave. Baptist Church in Evansville on September 7, 1963. They were married 50 years until John’s death in 2014.

Betty worked for several years as a cafeteria worker at Baldwin Heights Elementary and at Lowell Elementary Schools. She was a member of Washington Ave. Baptist Church in Evansville and had attended Columbia General Baptist Church in Princeton.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Greg McKee of Danville, IN; and 2 grandsons, Kyle McKee (Kimber) of Brownsburg, IN and Clint McKee (Rachael) of Camby, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and an infant daughter, Rebecca Lynn.

There will be a private family service at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton on Saturday, December 21, 2019 followed by a burial at Columbia White Church Cemetery. Pastor Ron Marsh will officiate.
