Billie Joy Gendren

Billie Joy Gendren, 79, of Francisco, IN passed away September 6, 2023.  She was born March 27, 1944 in Covington, KY to the late William and Mary Christine Watkins.  Billie attended and graduated from Mt. Olympus High School in 1962. She married the love of her life, Bill, August 31, 1978.  Billie enjoyed raising rabbits and traveling the country showing them.  She was loved by many and will be missed.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Gendren II; children, William Gendren III of Princeton, Elizabeth Christmas of Princeton, Donald Ray Gendren of Franciso, and Joy (Jimmy) Ashworth of Winslow; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, David R. (Deloris) Watkins of Wheeling, Janice (Pat) Wildt of Wheeling, Donald R. (Cathy) Watkins of Elizabethton, TN, and Linda (David) Klingerman of Osceloa, IN.

The family will hold a celebration of life at 1:00 pm EDT on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Petersburg Holiness Church, 5317 N Knox Rd., Petersburg, IN  47567.
