Bobbie Blair Obituary

Bobbie Anne Blair, 82, formerly of Oakland City, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Evansville. She was born February 6, 1939 in New Hampshire to the late Charlie White and Katha Ann Hand and was raised in San Diego. She married Arthur Blair on August 15, 1959 and they were blessed with 46 years together before his passing April 5, 2005. She attended Good Shephard United Methodist Church and was a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority Theta Chi Chapter of Oakland City where she served as Parliamentarian. One of Bobbie’s main reasons for waking up in the mornings were her grandchildren who she loved dearly and who knew her as “G Bob”.  She was creative and enjoyed working with ceramics. She was also an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed 80s music. Bobbie will be missed who all who knew and loved her.

Bobbie is survived by her sons, Terry Blair (Kathy) of Oakland City and Arthur Blair of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Mandi Venson (Steve) of Haubstadt, Brent Pinnell of Mt. Carmel, Branden Pinnell of Mt. Carmel, and Eryn Richards (Mike) of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Alecia, Reighn, Seth, Sebastian, Sage, Eden, and Faith; brother-in-law, Billy Ray Blair of Indianapolis; sisters-in-law, Vickie Sue Cotner of Evansville and Theresa Blair Georges of Washington; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, William “Billy” Morgan White.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 5, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Bruce Vanoven. For those who cannot attend, join via facebook livestream at www.facebook.com/colvinfuneralhomes. Interment will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 4 until 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
