Bonnie J. Cain, 87 of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born June 10, 1933 in Patoka to the late Walter P. & Myrtle (Rainey) Cain. She worked at Hansen Corporation for 43 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Bonnie took after her father’s sense of humor and will be dearly missed.
Bonnie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Audrey Louise Williams, Donna Lee Swinford, and Stephen Roy; friends, Amy and Jeff Hill; and her beloved dog, Sissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hobert Cain; and sisters, Opal Roy, Erma Quillen, Delores Kahn, and Audrey Watkins.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10 until 11:00 AM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A graveside funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at Decker Cemetery in Patoka with Father Brian Emmick officiating. A rosary service will be held at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, occupancy at the funeral home will be limited. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear facial coverings and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be given to Heritage Hospice located at 1202 W Buena Vista Rd # 107, Evansville, IN 47710 or to River Oaks Health Campus Activities Department located at 1244 Vail St, Princeton, IN 47670.
