Brenda Lindsey Obituary

Brenda Joyce Lindsey, 79, of Princeton, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at The Waters of Princeton. She was born in Cincinnati, OH August 5, 1946 to Chester Leon and Mae Atwood (Potter) Lindsey.  Brenda attended Wabash Valley College and Indiana University and received her RN license.  She had also been a hair designer for over 30 years.  Brenda had lived in Princeton for the past 40 years, enjoyed playing golf in her younger years and had been a member of Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge.  Brenda had a passion for interior design, enjoying painting homes, murals, and pictures. 

Brenda is survived by her son, Michael Small of Princeton; and her sister, Doreen Dean of Bradenton, FL and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a former husband, James Michael Small, the father of her son; brothers, Barry Eugene Lindsey, William “Lloyd” Lindsey; sisters, Anna Gwen Morgan, Sue Singer, and Judy Williams.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jonathan Ryser officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
