Bryan Leon Jones, Sr., 65, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home. He was born August 13, 1956 in Princeton, Indiana to Delbert L. Jones and Alma Louise (Hardiman) Jones and enjoyed his youth growing up on a farm in Lyles Station. He played football in high school and many people still talk about how much they enjoyed watching him play. Bryan gave his life to Christ at an early age at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church, Lyles Station, Indiana. He worked as a plant manager for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company for over 20 years and retired from Cardinal Glass Manufacturing. To his family, he was known as the “master chef” and loved to cook, especially grill. He enjoyed Nascar and watching any and all sports. He loved his family dearly, especially the grand and great-grandbabies. He was loved and will be forever missed.
Bryan is survived by his mother, Alma Louise (Hardiman) Jones; wife of 34 loving years, Vickie (Buckbee) Jones; children, Bryan Leon Jones, II (Gina Gilman), Jared Jones, Justin Jones, Tara Knapp Jones (Moses), and Chloe` Jones; grandchildren, Allie Williams Jones, Brylan Jones, Tanisha Jones, Ignazio Givens, Gianna Jones, Cienna Jones, Jaice Jones, Cierra Jones, Carissa Jones, Cassidy Jones, Chelsey Jones, Caylee Jones, Trinity Knapp, Mylan Knapp, Rylan Knapp, Kenyaa Knapp, and Ethon Jones; great-grandchildren, Somaryiah and Elijah, Jr.; siblings, Brent Jones (Laura), Carol Jones Montague, Brenda Jones Hall (Dan), and Sonya Jones Pritchett; brothers-in-law, John Bright and Tim Montague; and nieces and nephews, Corwin Bright, Gwendolyn Montague, Kristin Hardiman, Ashley Mills, Erica Hardiman, Breann Marrero, Kurt Pritchett, Barry Pritchett Jr., Jordyn Langley, Reghan Jones, Naomi Jones, and Calli Rose Jones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert L. Jones; sister, Gwendolyn Jones Bright; and brother-in-law, Barry Pritchett.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Princeton officiated by Pastor Andrew Johnson. A visitation will be held from 2 until 4:00 PM Sunday at the church. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton near Lyle Station.
